Provide network support, SQL support, and end user software support for two accounting applications: Navision Financials and FundWare.  Customize Navision Financials for clients using database design and programming tools.

Webmaster: Immanuel Baptist Church, 08/1999 - 01/2002
Took over responsibilities for maintaining the church web site.  Responsible for getting current information from department and committee leaders and making sure current, relevant information is on the web site.

Information Systems Specialist: BancFirst, Oklahoma City OK, 12/1995 - 08/2000
Help set up and manage LANs / WAN, provide end user software support, design database applications, perform PC configuration and repair, antivirus administrator, responsible for configuring and maintaining approximately 90 Cisco routers running ATMs and a state-wide WAN.

Student Worker and Lab Assistant : Oklahoma Baptist University Computer Center, 08/1991 - 12/1995
Repair PCs, diagnose network and PC problems, assist with software problems, install both software and hardware campus-wide. Assist students, faculty, and staff in the computer lab with various software (20-30 hours per week).

Logged attorneys’ time sheets, prepared monthly billing statements, paid bills, prepared payroll, handled bank deposits, performed basic accounting functions, served as in-house computer technician (25-30 hours per week).

QUALIFICATIONS

Database Administrator (Finley & Cook):  Monitor server performance; setup, monitor, and maintain backup schedules; write SQL scripts to gather information from various SQL based applications for summarization purposes.

Database Analysis & Design (Finley & Cook) :   Navision Financials is an accounting package that uses relational databases on the back end.  My responsibilities include making customizations to Navision to meet the requirements of each client's business.  This ranges from designing/customizing user screens, tables, reports, invoices, etc. to writing custom code that will handle complex business requirements.

LAN / WAN / Internet Experience (BancFirst) :   Set up LANs running both Novell and Windows NT file servers with Windows 95 and Windows 98 workstations.  Make both RG58 and twisted pair connections, install and configure network interface cards, and handle administrative functions involving file servers, print servers, and workstations. Responsible for configuration, installation, and maintenance of CISCO routers for a state-wide WAN that runs Novell file servers, Windows NT file servers, and ATM machines.   Handle the setup of Internet software on PCs and take calls relating to internal Internet problems.  Responsible for purchasing PCs from Dell Computer Corporation.

Antivirus Administrator (BancFirst) :  Installed Norton AntiVirus software on  the approximately 1500 PCs in BancFirst.  Responsibilities now include the distribution of new virus definitions to these PCs on a weekly basis.

Database Analysis & Design (BancFirst) :   Developed and designed a Help Desk application for BancFirst to monitor computer related problems. Reports and forms included breakdowns by: location, application, problem status, date, and referred to fields. Application also included a keyword search to search for problems of a particular type as well as a summary report and graph showing the number of calls by day, month, or year.

Database Analysis & Design (BancFirst) :   Developed and designed a computer inventory system for BancFirst. Helped to determine what hardware information to gather and the method of inventorying the hardware. Reports and forms included breakdown by location, a complete report listing all hardware components for a single user, an identification report for each user to determine if they still had the same hardware, and a listing of all similar types of computers by various categories.

Database Analysis & Design (BancFirst) :   Developed and co-designed a database application for BancFirst to keep track of frame-relay circuit problems. The database is designed to keep track of when the circuit goes down, when it is reported to the phone company, when it is repaired, and what the problem/resolution is. While initially designed for 80 circuits, the database is scalable to allow for more circuits and more tracking features.  It is currently used to track when routers and ATMs are out of service.

Project Management/Systems Analysis and Design (OBU) :   Member of a four person team in the analysis and design of a physical fitness application for the OBU Physical Education Department; Developed the application in Paradox for Windows to monitor test results for various fitness activities, review students for exams, and provide students with a means of monitoring exercise habits.
